Acalypha Indiea Linn. EupJiorhiacece.

A common weed in the East Indies, like nettle. Proved and applied by Tonnere, of Calcutta, and Payne, of Bath. Holcombe's cure.

^ Mind. I Gloomy and despairing, but very unwilling to die.

d Haemoptysis. ^^ Female Sexual Organs. iLeucorrhoea, sometimes thick,

sometimes watery. 6 Consumptive patient. ^^ Cough. I Cough, with bloody expectoration. ^Tuberculosis.

■ Violent dry cough, followed by bloody expectoration. 1 1 Hgemoptysis.

Hsemoptysis: expectorates pure blood in the morning, dark lumps (clotted) in the evening. Cough most violent at night. 6 Tubercular deposits in apex of left lung. ^^ Inner Chest. I Dullness in chest on percussion, d Haemopty- sis.

■ Constant and severe pain in chest, d Haemoptysis. ^^ Pulse. Pulse small and depressed.

■ Pulse from 100 to 120. ^Haemoptysis.

^^ Time. Night : cough most violent. Morning : expectorates pure blood. Evening : expectorates dark clotted blood.

^° Fever. Slow fever.

^■* Tissues. ■■Progressive emaciation. ^Haemoptysis.

^^ Other Drugs. Collaterally related to all Ewphorhiacece ; espe- cially to Mercurialis annua and Mancin.
