NB. True septicaemia is possibly the base of all diseases growing in the body over years, and we then give it names depending on where the problems lie. Some seemingly small ailment occurs and the body or an organ virtually bursts open, because the septicaemia is already in the blood and building up. The body is born with a group of energies which move in it throughout life, repairing, renewing and endeavouring to keep balance.

The problem, however is that the mind, continually out of balance, is forever causing a septic state in the body by producing pus in the subtle emotional body. A septic mind—a septic body. All these conditions build up in the astral body of a person and gradually seep through into the physical body. Once the symptoms appear, the septic state is already well established and we find a cause—and the complaint as we see it at the moment; but the root cause is septicaemia.
