About the family
Cupuliferae…Cupuliferae is an obsolete name for the Fagaceae, the beech–oak family of trees and shrubs bearing nuts enclosed in a cupule, including oaks, beeches, chestnuts and hazels. Of the listed remedies, Fagus (beech) and Castanea Vesca (sweet chestnut) are the best-known members in homeopathy, alongside Alnus Rubra (red alder) and Ostrya Virginica (American hophornbeam).
