Reason for use

Cistus is not often called for in rheumatic conditions, and will be found of use only when associated with scrofulous troubles.

It is especially valuable when the rheumatism attacks the knees and great toe joints, and when the patient is extremely sensitive to the least cold.

Cistus antidotes Rhus tox.

Compare the carbon group, Kali bi., Phos., Sulph.
