About the family
Thymelaceae…Thymelaeaceae (often spelled Thymelaceae in older texts) is the daphne family, a group of mainly shrubs with tough bark and often fragrant flowers, including Daphne, Dirca, and Gnidia. Its best-known homeopathic members here are Mezereum (Daphne mezereum, mezereon) and Daphne Indica, with Dirca Palustris (leatherwood) also derived from the family.
