Reason for useRoberts

The sphere characteristic of Medorrhinum is marked by much disturbance and irritability of the nervous system from centre to periphery. Its pains are intolerable, tensive, shooting, neuralgic. It produces tension, involuntary tension which cannot be relaxed except by voluntary effort of will. Its nerves are easily shocked, it is easily startled at the least sound. Its restlessness is > by clutching the hands very tightly. Its nerves quiver, tingle, tremble and cause spasms. It is cold, yet throws off covers and wants to he fanned. It is < by warmth even when too cold to be fanned, or when cold to touch, as in collapse. It is < by damp or wet, drafts and thunderstorms. It is < sunrise to sunset, < mornings and bright evenings. The functional disturbance covers a long period before organic destruction begins. It is not to be considered as applicable because of its origin, but only when indicated by its symptomatology ; then it will do much toward restoring to normal in rheumatic conditions of whatever nature.
