The rheumatic or arthritic pains of Mercurius are tearing stinging, < at night in bed with profuse sweat which does not relieve. It will be of marked assistance in these symptoms, especially in syphilitic or complicated cases affecting the joints which are red and shiny, and in old cases of gout with shining red swellings.
