Reason for use
Spigelia is especially indicated in rheumatic troubles located in the left chest ; in rheumatic inflammations of heart, both precordial and endocardial, with violent irregular heart action and severe pain ; in pericarditis with profuse sweat, sticking or stabbing pains, palpitation, dyspnea from lying on back ; these mark the field of greatest usefulness in rheumatic and neuralgic conditions.
