Reason for use

Bryonia is a major remedy in all types of rheumatic troubles where its modalities are marked.

It is not indicated in the onset of rheumatic troubles, but after a few days of increasing distress in acute conditions, and at any time in chronic manifestations.

In rheumatic complaints the < from motion is not unusual, but this modality, together with the relief from lying on the painful side, and the marked > from perspiring, are the strongest leaders for its usefulness.
